If you don't mind volunteering for openstreetmap, the editor gives you access to several series of high resolution satellite images.

@juergen_hubert landsat imagery will be freely available and updated every few days but not great resolution. Used for tracking climate change.

Duck Duck Go's maps have a satellite view (Bing likely does too but DDG reduces tracking)
