We have difficult news to share. Neuromatch's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) license renewal, which has allowed us to include participants residing in Iran since 2020, has been denied by the United States Government. Effective May 1, 2026, we are no longer permitted to enroll students, hire teaching assistants, or run programming involving people residing in Iran.

So your reaction to the impacts of fascism is to blame people for living where they live? How about a brief moment of reflection. Ask yourself 1) why am I saying this? 2) who will receive what impacts from my words? 3) would the world be a better place if I just fucked off and said nothing?

I don't want to clutter up the replies under this post, which is about the revocation of ability to serve Iranian students and the impact on them, by indulging some myopic reply guy fantasy, so this will by my last - you don't know what you're talking about, it shows, try having a little humility and compassion next time.
