We call on our fellow citizens of the world to RISE UP for Palestine! The impunity shown by israel to intercept our flotilla in international waters is yet ANOTHER gross example of the world turning a blind eye to israeli crimes.
But israel does not act alone. Our governments are complicit. The EU is complicit as Frontex drones monitored our fleet. Greece is complicit as the allowed israel to ILLEGALLY board our boats in their rescue zone. All because they are terrified to LET GAZA LIVE.
We say enough! We REFUSE to continue to watch our governments enable the war machine. We REFUSE to accept the normalization of keeping Gaza besieged and starved. We REFUSE to accept a ceasefire in name and the persistent land grab in Lebanon and Palestine.
WE ARE THE REFUSAL and this April 30th and May 1st WE RISE for Gaza, for Palestine, for humanity, and for the end of the current world order.

That's not where they were going though. They were taking desperately needed humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people still undergoing genocidal warfare through Israel's use of starvation as a weapon, which States have an actual obligation to not just stop but to prevent, but instead they prevent and obstruct the heroes of humanity who do what those genocide-aiders are required to do.

🚨 URGENT: GSF PARTICIPANTS BRUTALIZED BY IOF AFTER 40 HOURS AT SEA 🚨
Global Sumud Flotilla participants have just survived 40 hours of calculated cruelty aboard an iOF navy vessel in Greek waters.
They were denied adequate food and water. They were forced to sleep on floors that were deliberately and repeatedly flooded.
When the military moved to abduct two participants, Saif Abukeshek (Spain / Palestinian origins) and Thiago Ávila (Brazil), our crew peacefully resisted and the response was sheer violence.
Participants were punched, kicked, and dragged across the deck with their hands bound behind their backs. They suffered broken noses, cracked ribs and bloody beatings. Shots were even fired at them in the chaos.
Greek police are now trapping our battered crew on buses, denying them the freedom to leave while Saif and Thiago have been abducted and taken to Occupied Palestine.
60 participants have immediately launched a hunger strike.
We demand their freedom and international accountability NOW.

URGENT PLEASE READ
Following the illegal, piratical operation in which hundreds of members of the Global Sumud Flotilla were seized by the israeli occupation forces within a Greek search and rescue zone west of Crete and south of the Peloponnese, the Greek government cooperated with the genocidal state to disembark the abducted individuals at a port in Crete.
israel has officially acknowledged that two of those detained, Thiago Ávila and Saif Abukesek, are being unlawfully transferred to Occupied Palestine against their will. The Greek government is enabling an international operation of abduction of citizens from third countries and is consenting to blatant violations of international humanitarian law and the law of the sea.
The Greek government is acting without restraint, positioning the country as the most privileged ally of a genocidal state. At a time when israel is facing widespread international delegitimization, Greece is disgraced and risks becoming a pariah state in the international community.
