yep, that just about covers all possible options

@molly0xfff he's a baboon
@molly0xfff Every time I see a statement like that it makes me think of "you can take the donkey or you can take the tram. It is the same price."
@molly0xfff Oh yeah research the story of our current central banker more if you want to be entertained and less depressed about US
@molly0xfff Looked at properly, this means that bitcoin will have to keep going up or it will go to 0 because as soon as it stops going up it’s worthlessness will kick in.
@molly0xfff So, they're saying the price could go up 100 or 200%. Or down 100, 200, even 500 or 700%?
I've heard that math before.
@molly0xfff The Czech Central Bank is gambling people's money? Terrible.
@molly0xfff in most contexts if this was coming from someplace credible I'd simply wonder "why couldn't they just say it's extremely volatile and shifts based on factors we can't really track or predict."
@molly0xfff Then there's Microsoft, "This could take up to 10 minutes or more."
@molly0xfff considering how much he earns (more than Jerome Powell), he should be more precise
@molly0xfff my chances to win the lottery are 50:50
either i win or i loose
@molly0xfff Reminds me of the Geico advertising "You could save up to 15% or more by switching to Geico", which presents the following possibilities:
- You do save less than 15%
- You do save over 15%
- You don't save anything
There is no way you can save exactly 15% by switching to Geico.
@molly0xfff price of bitcoin will "probably not be zero sharp" says overconfident mathematician
@molly0xfff I used to write a sports column and when I offered analysis like that — on purpose, to say I had no idea what was going to happen — I'd always follow it up with "you can't get this kind of analysis just anywhere."
@molly0xfff That's why he's the governor. Should have heard what the other guys said.
there’s sure going to be egg on his face when bitcoin reaches a price of 5𝑖
@molly0xfff I can only imagine...
@molly0xfff so, this has almost nothing to do with bitcoin (👍), but is anybody aware of any applications of imaginary numbers in economics/finance? for lots of reasons; but my favorite is probably that the market is supposed to propagate signals, and signal processing is chock full of imaginary numbers…
@molly0xfff This is precisely the math + cryptocurrency joke I needed to start my Wednesday morning!
@molly0xfff I mean the value is _already_ imaginary…
@molly0xfff if bitcoin reaches a price of 5i I'm going to be very upset I didn't invest. Any real value price and I'm just not fussed.
@molly0xfff that's some real complex economics
@molly0xfff I'm surprised no one is looking at when the price is -100
The product of two imaginary numbers is a Canadian girlfriend.
