so hey
we're looking for work, preferably in a non-profit, but given the historical moment we're at, we're open to for-profit if it's doing something socially positive
we have a strong background in information privacy (ex-Google). we have years of non-profit governance experience. we've been coding intensely since early childhood and, depending how you count, have nearly 40 years of experience at that. we also have experience managing other programmers.
anyone know of anything?

In violating it, you mean? Because that’s what Google does. That’s its business model.
Are you proud of having worked there? Because I don’t see how that aligns with “bring[ing] the highest standards of ethical practice to your organization.”
I would love to boost your post but I won’t as I have no desire to cast Google on a positive light in any way, shape, or form because they are a genocide-complicit surveillance capitalist and part and parcel of Silicon Valley/US fascism.
@aral dude, chill. The Irenes left because they couldn't square Google policy with their ethics. They know their stuff on privacy.

This doesn’t say Google is about information privacy to you?
I’ll be more than happy to post it if it means “We worked at the worst possible place for violating your privacy so we know exactly what not to do” but not if it’s “hire us because we worked at Google and we’re proud of it.”
we're also activists, with a strong focus on gender topics, neurodiversity, and mental health including but not limited to plurality (cf. pluralpride.org).
in a past role we were a highly visible labor organizer, and still hold strong labor ideals that we bring to every job we do, whether it happens to be as an individual contributor or as (sigh) management. we have also technically been a whistleblower, in a minor way.
