Why is it so important to AI fans that no one ever disagree with them?

@jenniferplusplus look I’m not saying that AI somehow harvests energy and power from our use and worship of it, but I’m not _not_ saying it either… hallowed are the AI!
Anyway, if AI fans don't like the way people react to being evangelized, they can stop evangelizing.

That goes both ways. I am not necessarily for or against technology, but I see most of it as inevitable, including AI. I was called a bootlicker for expressing myself suchly
@D_Reno You could not be more wrong about technology being inevitable.
However, the simple fact of you being wrong doesn't threaten me. AI fans seem theatened by disagreement, when they could just enjoy being right
@jenniferplusplus I'm just saying that there's not much difference between AI and anti-AI fans. Social divisions are everywhere and both sides usually encourage it by insisting their side is right instead of finding compromises that benefit the most people. Sad to see. We're doing iurselves in. All my opinion, of course.
As for the inevitability of technology, time will tell. Let's meet here in ten years and see how things are.
@jenniferplusplus we love the ones who object to calling it slop. they wouldn't like to hear what we'd call it if we weren't trying to be polite. and they never have an alternative.
