A co-worker had a Himalayan that would do that.
I ended up house sitting for him for a few months.
The poor cat was pretty matted up when I got there. I hate seeing an animal in that condition. I found an appropriate brush and as soon as the cat saw it, it came trotting over. It took a few evenings, but I got it all brushed out, the cat purring the whole time.
After that I couldn't walk anywhere in the house without the cat being underfoot and flopping over if it saw me look at her.
"What did you do to the cat!"
"Brushed her"
"Oh, yeah..."
😆
@catsalad If I had a cat like that I'd be socially dead.
I'll do the minimum to pay the bills and just spent the rest of my life my face buried in its fur.
And no regret.
@catsalad he can flop because he has built in cushioning to protect against impacts
@catsalad Micro naps before reaching the goal 🐾😴
@catsalad My cat does this too! He’s a little stripey orange dope and he will flop in front of people (mostly me) to demand pets.
@catsalad
Everybody do the flop!
@catsalad haha... mickey flips
@catsalad ok..am melting again..🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@catsalad For our household chonky cat, we call those "plorps."
Shoulda named this cat LeBron coz he's the biggest flopper Evar
@catsalad For a second there, I thought the cat was going to do belly flops.
@catsalad I literally have a cat who does this...
(I suspect there is some ragdoll in there or something.)
