The next #communityBroadcastingNetwork video is up now.
This is our first Community Media Spotlight. Today, we're talking about the Athens, GA based JOKERJOKERtv, and their absolutely wild live weekly talk show.

You'll see a lot more from #JOKERJOKERtv over the next few months.
We've got some co-productions lined up, as well as a short interview with founder Mux about his creative journey to making television.
I met Mux first as part of the #DesignerToy community! He's a resin cast toy maker. But I very shortly thereafter re-met him as part of the local music scene, he's the bassist and vocalist for Rat Babies, who I adore. When I found out that, in addition to running in the same art and music scenes, we were also both kickstarting independent television projects ...
Well, Mux and I became fast friends. He's a rough around the edges kind of guy, and JJTV is a rough around the edges kind of show, but they've accomplished something really special in the way they've managed to document the recent Athens, GA art and music scene over the last 5 years.
JOKERJOKERtv is well into the 200s in terms of number of episodes.
Their full archive is currently on youtube.
We're working on a 24/7 broadcast stream for them, and also navigating how to get them into peertube, and maybe even onto cable in Athens.
Anyway, JJTV is a member of the #CommunityBroadcastingNetwork, and I'm glad to have them aboard.
We'll do a community media spotlight post at least once a month (although probably a lot more often for the first few!)
If you'd like to be featured in one of our Community Media Spotlights, reach out and let's see if we can make it happen.
