The result in Gorton and Denton is deeply disappointing.
Instead of a Labour MP who can be a local champion delivering for Gorton and Denton alongside a Labour Government and a Labour mayor, the people of Gorton and Denton now have a representative who is more interested in dividing people than uniting them. .....

@Geri this is literally the attitude Scottish Labour took in 2007 and to this day they still don’t understand why nobody pays attention to them. All the do is talk about the SNP and independence. They talk about independence more than the SNP and Greens do! They were ousted even more when they jumped into bed with the Tories during the #Indyref. They didn’t just agree, it was a full on shared bed. It was a Labour wipeout at the next election.
Starmer is hopefully the best Prime Minister Reform UK will ever elect.
(Yes that's an insult. Just to be glaringly clear.)

@Geri Likud did not elect Starmer. Rather, the Tories took aim at both their feet with a shotgun and the shrapnel missed Starmer.

@Geri Not merely vapid: he's a malignant careerist authoritarian who picked Labour under Blair but would have been equally at home as a Tory, and who climbed into the leadership position by backstabbing Corbyn (who TBF was no more leadership material than Michael Foot, but was at least not a vile right-wing hypocrite).
