TIL I have two profile cosmetics in my #Steam account from 2010 that are now worth ~ $10 and ~ $20 in the community marketplace (like, real money that goes into your Steam wallet).

Back when I worked at Macworld, #Valve sent me one of the screenshot teaser packs to hype up that Steam was coming to the Mac. If you opened Steam within a short post-launch window, you earned some cosmetics (I got Bill’s Hat and Earbuds for TF2, not sure if there were others).

Now I have them listed in the market because I want to get Satisfactory 😆
