This is heart-rending. What's wrong with us? Why are we so shitty to women – and even girls, this person is 15 years old, for Chtulu's sake. What do people think they stand to gain?
I feel completely out of touch, uncomprehending. And I feel a deep shame, even though I am innocent of those particular accusations. Just by being a man. Damn it. #sexism
@alberto_cottica It's shifted a bit, but not gone. I was a teenage girl several decades ago. And like most girls my age at that time, I endured -countless- inappropriate comments, attempted gropes, and cat calls from grown ass "men" in real life. Who does that?
And that is the other side of this: the dudes who do this continue to be horrifically brainwashed to be -utter dumpster fires- as humans.
So is it any wonder the the world itself is a dumpster fire wherever they are in control of it?
