My six year old seemed to finally kind of click with Minecraft—at least watching/dictating, not playing it yet. But we spent a lot of time this weekend revisiting my old server that’s literally older than the kid! 😅
We died many times (oh yeah the server is on hard mode…), only had part of our house blown up by creepers (well, twice), and only lost a few valuables. But it was a blast to get back into.
@cassidy I used to love playing Minecraft with the kiddos. Unfortunately they're older now and have moved on to Fortnite, so that time is now lost. 🙁
@cassidy My six year old was also curious about Minecraft. And although I bought the game way back when it started, I preferred to introduce him to #minetest ( @Luanti). I was never able to get the mob and villages mods to work correctly (we never found any villages and the mobs are super rare) but he still had a lot of fun in creative mode, making his own house and digging around.
