@autonomysolidarity not sure why you interpret my comments about the article as some kind of indictment of your channel 🤷🏻♂️ but I would suggest that an 'all-encompassing' approach means being able to debate disagreements.

@autonomysolidarity I don't see that site as advocating real opposition but rather a form of tech nationalism
@danmcquillan @autonomysolidarity what the fuck you idiot, this is research, its just an intro its not am essay, thats like <1% of the fucking project, they probably don't all soeak english as a first language either, there is no expresion of a concern for sovereignty, you just read the first line maybe your browser is fucked up.
@danmcquillan So it's about information and background. If they don't matter to you, well. A very abbreviated analysis then from you.
Describe your statement that this is a nationalist tech support site? Hard 😅
@autonomysolidarity @autonomysolidarity I totally agree about being informed,; the networks of influence around Big Tech are complex. However, that article starts with the sentence " the U.S. Army quietly signed away a piece of its sovereignty". I don't know any kind of anti-authoritariansm that would care about the sovereignty of the military.
@autonomysolidarity The broader positioning of that piece is to support tech nationalism, which is a dangerous recuperation of opposition to Big Tech.
@danmcquillan It's about background. We write in the post that the analysis is simplified and shortened, but it is an analysis and the text contributes to background information. Of course, there is certainly a lot to add to this from our perspective. In the post, however, we were interested in information and background information about bigtech. The army is of course just as shit. So don't get us wrong here.
If you scroll up you will see a whole range of other articles and I think our position here in the channel is clear.
We only wanted to contribute to the background information here, but we are welcome to delete the post
@danmcquillan This page shows interesting background information on the militarized, digital surveillance industry and billionaire cartels around Palantir, SpaceX, Thiel Capital and Co. That's what this is all about. It doesn't hurt to know a system if it is to be fought....
And Addressing topics without background information does not really seem oppositional but then rather populist
