@Edent I run Ubuntu on mine with no issues, it auto-detected the screen rotation.
@Edent if used to that and want ease go for same. I鈥檇 likely go Ubuntu myself.
If want to learn how the RH side goes maybe fedora?
@Edent cachy is nice and makes all of the nerdy arch options for you. Whilst still letting you change your filesystem and Desktop Environment
Gonna give Windows 11 a spin first. Mostly because a separate gadget has a firmware update which is packaged as an .exe.
Haven't connected it to the Internet get, but so far Windows is just as I remembered it from a couple of years ago. Unexciting.
Linux Mint Debian Edition is go!
Automatic screen rotation works once booted (grub and LUKS in portrait mode). Touchscreen works as does WiFi. Sound works, as do the function keys.
Haven't tested anything else yet.

OK Linux Mint is a no-go. Touchscreen doesn't work properly with Wayland.

Time to try a new distro!
@Edent
Consider yourself lucky that you can buy an en-XX keyed laptop anywhere. Even from local sellers, the closest to what I want is often the bastard 'nordic' keyboard.
I did once accept defeat ~5 years ago, and got a 6inch GPD micro PC. Works well enough OTG that I have gotten used to it, and it docks with USBC.
@dme I believe that price doesn't include VAT / import duty.
@Edent But now you have Copilot and Teams. 馃槅
@Edent Fedora sway atomic 馃
@Edent What is the battery life like?
@peter_henning I'll let you know once it arrives 馃檪
@Edent Ubuntu. Debian was a bad time on it, lots of issues. Reports from other owner-friends are that pretty much everything works out of the box in Kubuntu, Ubuntu needed minor work for the tablet mode.
@Edent while I think the value of atomic / immutable distros is a bit overstated I found Fedora Atomic forced me to have a *really* good package management hygiene and is rock solid.
Otherwise Arch just for the meme and #iUseArch hashtag (or because you can get it easily to a fairly light base system that鈥檚 snappy on the N150)
