Just looking at how "AI" is going. My server's `dmesg` is just that. Just the firewall blocking "AI" scrapers

Screenshot of an output of the linux dmesg command showing just the server blocking IPs (all IPs that server blocks are AI scraper)

@tante all those added processes just to clean out the mess! Who will pay for it? Don't we have the right to bill it to those who run the scrapers?

@tante Not to tell you how to run your machines, but I recommend something like ulogd and tweaking the firewall rules, to keep dmesg a bit cleaner. I've had a case many years back where fw DROP messages outcrowded messages about a failing disk (yesyes, log monitoring etc, still.)

@klausman I have actual monitoring set up that sends me instant alerts to messengers in case something goes wrong ;)
