And so, after a legal challenge by Reform UK Ltd, the Govt. has decided not to delay council elections in those areas being re-organised (and where councils *had* requested delays) as it is now believed such a move would have been declared illegal; meaning the Govt. has also now agree to pay Reform's £100k legal costs for the challenge.

Whatever you think of Labour's underlying politics, the suspicion has to be the really couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery!
