#LAUTI was recently translated into Danish ๐
It is now available in the following languages:
- English
- German
- Czech
- Ukrainian
- Danish
If you know anyone who wants to run a local community calendar in one of those languages go ahead and tell them :)
If your language is missing from that list you can easily add new translations using the weblate instance hosted by @Codeberg

Arabic translation already looking good. To be useable in production we still need to merge this branch though, probably for the release after this one. codeberg.org/Klasse-Methode/...

Hi, thanks for the question. Sadly, this is not yet perfect, but we are aware of it: codeberg.org/Klasse-Methode/...
We generally use pkg.go.dev/github.com/ruang-... for date and time localization, but it is not integrated in all places in the code right now. This is a good hint for us to give this some more prioritization.

Which language are you planning on translating? And are you also planning on running your own instance of LAUTI? Maybe wait a little bit with the contribution to this lib. We will first figure out if the maintainer is active enough for our needs: github.com/goodsign/monday/i...
Otherwise we will either fork it or do it ourselves, at least partly.

@klasse_methode hey @ButterflyOfFire, I know you already have 10000 projects on your plate so no pressure ๐ but I wanted to alert you of this really nice community calendar project called @lauti who you might want to submit some translations for. They recently announced they are going to build in federation and I got to hang out with them at FOSDEM a bit and can report they are really sweet!
