Not from the subject matter, but I just couldn't stay stuck in with the writing
It seems to be very much a hit or miss novel

I loved Babel, so I was really hopeful about other books by the same writer. Yellowface was a real slog to finish because the main character was so unlikeable. I'll wait on this one.

@EllenInEdmonton @codebyjeff This book is also full of flawed characters. But saw some reviews of people who loved Yellowface say they didn’t like this book, so maybe the inverse applies? 😊
