I'm thinking about self hosted / community hosted printables / thingyverse lookalikes for sharing models. Does this exist?
How hard would it be to build this as a feature in forgejo? Thinking about a very extended /explore/repos page that can filter repos by a type/tag ("this repo is a 3d model"). I guess it's not possible to organize repos using tags or categories? Plus an integrated stl previewer, which should be easy.

@eNBeWe @moreentropy This. I think @manyfold Is also slowly and carefully working on ActivityPub support, I'm not familiar with how far they're in that regard though. Also not sure how it is in regards to support for 3rd-party tools like Yeggi and STLFinder.
@eNBeWe @moreentropy @Natanox we do have federation between instances working - more features to go in but the basics are there. General search is an interesting one - we have all the metadata published automatically, but getting instances indexed by the specialist search engines is more of a challenge. We do have cross-instance search between federated Manyfold instances though.
