9.6% of success rate for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions #MSCA postdoctoral grants. What the hell are we doing?

To give some context, the most prestigious personal grants the EU gives (ERC) have ~8% success rate. I think for UK medical research funding (MRC) was ~12% but can't remember the source of that number.

In summary, getting funding to work as a posdoct for two years is as hard as getting millions in research by a team of researchers.
