I am looking for either #Opensource Group #Chat or #Forum software for our local walking group. It's a private group. I want to get the group away from their infatuation with WhatsApp (for obvious reasons) so it needs to be attractive. Should include Admin Announcements, General Discussion topics and Media Uploads. Real time voice/video capability is not necessary. Modern (ie not SMF or phpBB) look and feel. Self hosted option preferable. Any suggestions?
