The European Commission told TikTok to “change several key features, including disabling infinite scrolling, setting strict screen time breaks and changing its recommender systems. The demand follows the Commission's declaration that TikTok’s design is addictive to users.”

Now do the same for the US services!

@parismarx Yes please in the USA too, but I'd really be happy if feeds don't refresh under me while I'm scrolling. Not that I use X anymore or Facebook much, but that's bad UI right there.

@parismarx But infinite scrolling is really nothing new or unique to TikTok. Here on Mastodon I can scroll infinitely. On Youtube, too. 🤷
