When its only purpose is to flood the zone and get attention, trolling is spam, and ought to treated as ruthlessly as unsolicited ads.
Any open network that wants to replace FarceBook, and doesn't want to become an open sewer, *must* have effective spam prevention, not just reactive moderation.
