Final test. Students have 90 minutes to finish the test, but I made it shorter than usual. All students but one are gone after an hour. She's a sweet girl and I don't mind, but my stomach is starting to disagree with that statement.

She finished a few minutes later. Lunch was had.

Now I worry I made the test too easy. Usually my students always leave my tests with a disconcerted expression, but I ran into one a few minutes later, and looked at me happy and giving me the thumbs up when I asked him what he thoughts about the test. That's a first.

Pro tip for beginner teachers: it's always safer to make your exams too difficult. If everyone struggled, you always can raised the grades or modify the rubric or something. ⤵️

If the test is too easy, you're kind screwed and your bell curve too. (you never have to have a perfect bell curve, but you need to have some sort of bell curve).

Well, I'll check this in details after a nap and a coffee.
