Having met a beaver face to face, i can say these are not the cuddly rodents they portray in the cartoons. Whatever the beaver wants is what you should want, and get out of its way.

oh god, I hope so.
what I worry about (in terms of after H. sapiens is extinct) are the nuclear reserves. I guess the containers will eventually decay and release mutagenic waste with half-lives in the many many many many years. (like millions of years? I don't know.)
Maybe we can keep around just the infrastructure and robot or humans, to ensure nuclear waste isn't released. That seems like a good compromise.
