@parismarx I like the point about shifting the kind of extraction. I also think that it's import to consider that one (fossil fuel) requires constant extraction as we consume it, while extraction to create the renewable/green approach can for the most part be recycled.

@parismarx fantastic episode, I just finished it... So many things to consider.
If I may, We can do a good deal of it ourselves. If we as in "We the people" were to put solar and wind into our communities helping each other to build that infrastructure we would have our own generating capability. As we go on this would take the power (pun intended) away from Fossil Fuel Industries and itself regain control over our own lives. . .
Many of the Villages in Alaska have been doing this to cut costs of fuel and power in the Bush where costs are outrageous.
