Only thing is, it was a bit quiet. Had to turn the volume all the way up on both my phone and the car stereo to be able to hear. Then jumped out of my skin when the next podcast started VERY LOUDLY!!!!!

According to a brief search, -16 is standard for Apple podcasts while Spotify tends to be -14 according to this blog:

Then -16 is not in dB for peaks but something else
The RMC levels for the lowest track in the first was at:
Left: -25.837 dB
Right: -25.0968 dB
Stereo: -25.4512 dB
In the new one I'm making are between -20 to -29 dB
Regarding the -16 that's for LUFS.
