It's pretty clear from here, across the sea, because we see the high profile voices like Rebecca Solnit, and the no-profile voices like people in Idaho objecting to ICE kidnapping their fellow townspeople. What's not clear is why people are still doing their everyday routines. Work, shopping, ....
