When Rougier makes something, I pay attention. For example, https://github.com/rougier/agenda is a plain text agenda for Emacs. He loads the readme with disclaimers about how it's NOT EVEN CLOSE to org-agenda in power or features. He doesn't scare me! Gotta try it, right? #emacs
