@pluralistic Brilliant because now is exactly the time for Dems to find their vertebrae.
In any case the future will not have the electoral college and will likely have ranked choice voting.
I kind of feel you give the US government TOO MUCH confidence (specially dems); the rest of the world are not holding their breath for the Usonian nightmare that is currently happening, would be great if the dems "found their spine" but there is ZERO trust right now and isolating and distancing the US might be best for the rest of the world right now.
