Not that this applies to you, Ben, but when I find myself in a situation like that, I just say that I don't remember where I got the item I'm borrowing.
And usually, that's true for me.

I did mention that I was sent it by a family member but it sat at the top of Explore most of today with lots of interaction and I just felt it wasn't right to keep it up because I'd posted it as a throwaway joke that looked like mine, but it wasn't.
