Apparently, some companies are going to scan the content of messages on their sites, to attempt to discern whether or not a user is an adult, irrespective of the user's declared, perhaps even evidenced, age.

@neil @millihertz Youtube already ran some algorithm that tagged young adults speaking Dutch as kids speaking German and changed *all* their videos to "restricted for minors", so you had 20 something folk making videos about learning to drive and their first car (something you usually have to be >18 to do in NL) where they couldn't get any comments unless they proved their age (a lot of people seemed to simply abandon their channels rather than sort out this issue)
