over the last couple of weeks, i just completely switched to gemini from chatgpt.

while they are all racing to differentiate, there's almost zero stickiness to these things, and i think in the end, companies with existing holds on users (like google with gmail and drive) seem to have a massive advantage.

@jbigham also the companies that can keep the log of queries have a moat.

I also switched to Gemini but i set its log to be ephemeral (which I don鈥檛 think ChatGPT allows).

@andresmh i did that for a while, but then it got super annoying because i could reference past queries -- i just wanted to say it shouldn't reference prior queries, but it seems either both google and I have access, or nobody does :(

@jbigham I hope 馃崕 stores the log history locally when it integrates with Gemini! Please ask them to do that! 馃檹
