My first game with this new imitation rifle, and I'm very much still getting used to it. It was fun.

@neil out of curiosity, how do the range and accuracy of the pellet compare between an airsoft pistol and rifle?
@eigen It will vary massively according to tuning and individual weapon spec, but with my pistol, I could hit a human sized target at ~20m, and a target with perhaps a 5cm diameter at 3m.
With my fanciest rifle, I could hit a human sized target at ~75-80m reasonably easily, and perhaps 100m at a push. I haven't tried shooting close range targets with it, because of its power.
With an electric rifle - mine are basic, but perfectly fine - I could confidently hit a 4cm target 10-15m, pretty consistently.
@neil that looks an impressive bit of kit - things seem to have moved on from when I last looked at them. I could never tolerate the awful racket the electric ones made but I see you've gone the air powered route.
Things have moved on *massively* from when I first used Airsoft toys 25+ years ago! I still have AEGs, and still enjoying using them, but I am rather impressed with this (significantly more expensive) HPA setup.
@neil Caption: "You asked for legal aid?"
@neil that *is* a big rifle. I'm glad you had fun! ^.^
@neil Looks like another picture from America! 😱
@neil crikey. That’s a serious bit of kit!
@neil That's massive! Almost a sniper rifle.
(Awesome photo though)
@pwaring Thanks to the ridiculous suppressor, it is quieter than most sniper rifles too!
@neil Fair enough, I see the gas connection now. When I used to play the gear box noise was way more than the sound of the bb leaving the barrel.
@emily_s Yes, absolutely! This is HPA, and the biggest noise is the air escaping the barrel. With the suppressor, it is much the same as someone breathing out gently :)
