If you live in the U.S.and don’t already speak Spanish, simply learning to speak some, even just a bit, is now an anti-fascist act.

@heidilifeldman Yet ... by its very definition, fascism is simply a bad thing. Opposing bad is even worse?
Insane minds at work that should be incarcerated not allowed free rampage.
@heidilifeldman Learning anything about anything other than one's own backyard is. That's why I'm such a fan of the ERASMUS program in the EU. Constantly subverting the youth and indoctrinating them against shooting at other people across the what used to be a border... The media will fuck fascism prevention up every time, but try to rile up kids against their exchange families and friends and see where that gets you. These programs are where all defense money should go.
@heidilifeldman Coming down the line in 3 ... 2... 1...
ICE /Border Patrol start to examine people's Duolingo profiles at entry points. Learning Spanish will get you on a watch list.
"Start"?
They're probably doing it already.
@heidilifeldman ya sé hablar español. I learned it before it was cool 😎
@heidilifeldman
Who knew I was antifacist starting in middle school.
@heidilifeldman
I don't know if Duolingo will get me there, but I'm trying.
@heidilifeldman excellent idea!! Buy a subscription to duolingo or some other tutorial service....and start speaking it when out shopping, working, etc....simple things, good morning, thank you, etc....oh, can just see maga heads start exploding when everyone, from white to black, start speaking Spanish!!!!
@heidilifeldman of course it is. Anything is anti government now, even breathing for some people 😔
@heidilifeldman I will start with “chinga la migra”😈
Lo siento, pero he olvido todo de mi Español.
@heidilifeldman Damn, I already speak Spanish.
i will teach you spanish
"i am very embarrassed" -> "estoy muy embarazada"
