@codinghorror I sat on a train once with ear-buds in. The woman next to me asked what I was listening to, and she seemed almost personally offended when I told her it was Enigma.

People who like Wilco and Sonic Youth (and it's always both of them) are usually weird but harmless.

I'm wary of anyone who voluntarily listens to Vampire Weekend, Bastille, or Modest Mouse.

But anyone who claims to like Jack Johnson can't be trusted and is best ghosted forever.
