Welp because time works differently in England I must now slumber instead of staying awake until all hours watching an evil rabbit serenade the NGL teams of the Washington State Troopers Vs the Hannah Montanas or whatever. @TheBreadmonkey yes well when you have a sport where 180 players can be “not out” and a match can last a week I suppose our violence-with strict rules and a time deadline war sim sport must seem gauche
😆😆😆 I am kidding it’s all bizarre
I went to a game once - a friend took me to Steelers Vs the someone else's. We arrive. Get free flags. Lovely day. Few drinks. There's a sort of parade. Then Tinie Tempah comes out and does a set. There are pyrotechnics. Then Gene Simmons from Kiss comes out to sing the National Anthem. More pyrotechnics. Then David Hay comes out and blows an enormous Viking horn with fire shooting out the end. And then the game. 5 to 7 hours of impenetrable stop/start play involving ten thousand people - each one with their own hour long introductory celebration. No idea who won or how it was scored. Ended up at 2am playing American football in a hotel with some Swedes I just met then negotiating a lift home for me and my asleep friend with a Somali guy who wasn't a taxi. In summary - confusing, but enjoyable day.
