#silentSunday #Scotland

A landscape photograph of Ullapool, a village and small port in the Scottish Highlands taken on a sunny summer day. The photo is taken on a ferry that has just left the jetty, which is on the right of the image, looking back towards a row of small mainly white cottages that run along the sea front.

The bottom 2 thirds of the photo are the lightly rippled and deep blue water, the top third blue sky with a few fluffy white clouds. Splitting the two is the line of houses and hills rising behind on both the left and the right.

The ferry will head out through a small gap visible on the left, between the end of the houses and the hill on the left. It looks unfeasible from this angle.
