@onepict Did you not inherit a tin already well-stocked with a minimum of two-generation's worth of buttons (and the odd buckle)?
@muninnhuginn No, sadly others got the tins of buttons. I remember that we sometimes even bought buttons set still in their cardboard and they ended up in the tin.
It was like a black hole for buttons, none could escape the event Horizon of the Royal Dansk Tin.
@onepict nothing wrong with having a tin of buttons. I remember as a child of four playing fascinatedly with my mum's button tin - or rather the contents.
