#Tusky now seems biffed in both F-Droid and Beta Android versions. Something up with the scrolling, which is janky and potentially very annoying for those with light use, but for me it makes it virtually unusable. No response and I can't see anyone else experiencing the issue so I am going to try once again to get on board with Moshidon. If I miss anyones responses, apologies - I'm still getting to grips with it. As you know, one thing us NDs absolutely love is a massive unwanted change to one of the key components in our life. Hooray.

@TheBreadmonkey Thanks for the prompt.
I've switched and can suddenly see images! This is magic ✨ Tusky really was the reason my mastodon experience was so limited. Thought it was my (3 year) old phone.

You are a guiding light, sir 💡

@TheBreadmonkey I wondered what was wrong with Tusky, even jankier than usual 😐

@EliJquilting

I found it unusable, which was a real shame as I was really comfortable on it

@TheBreadmonkey Moshidon is comfortable already, so that's a plus.

@TheBreadmonkey

I mainly use Trunks, but was using Tusky for my alts. Have now switched to Pachli for the latter as Tusky was sometimes jumping forward in my timeline.

@TheBreadmonkey that's odd; I'm using Tusky and it isn't glitching at all.

Pretty sure it's up to date (F-Droid version).

@TheBreadmonkey oh goodness. I left Tusky because it glitched for me a lot. I hope you will be happier with Moshidon.

@TheBreadmonkey I have to use Tusky to manage multiple accounts on the same instance sadly. I've not yet found an app that suitably manages this task - unless the Fediverse can help?

I like Fedilab, that does multiple accounts.

@simon
Same instance or not, it doesn't matter for Fedilab. Also, you can long press action buttons like boost, fav, quote, follow etc. you will be able to finish the action with another account without switching. The app will do everything in background (fetch the account and message to be sure they are known by the other instance and then proceed to the action).

@nomenloony @TheBreadmonkey @TheJen @kimlockhartga Hi -- if you're looking for something that doesn't have these problems, but has a UI you're (mostly) familiar with (there have been a number of accessibility improvements) you might like to try https://pachli.app.

Skimming some of the most recent posts there should give you a good idea of whether it's likely to be right for you.

I see the federated timeline, but is there not one for my specific instance?

There is -- it's on the left-hand-side menu (tap your avatar or swipe from left edge to open). You can add it to a tab, either in account preferences, or using the "Add to tab" button at the top right when viewing the feed.
