@bagder this is cool, I need to do my own recap (a good excuse to restart a blog). My own impressions-
A week was both too long and not enough at the same time. I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to.
Everyone is super-busy and we are short everywhere with everything but have a lot of energy and optimism.
I only brought business-type clothing this year to keep it as simple as possible.
Your closing keynote was very validating as I had been dealing with this for two years.

and thank you for the seat! FOSDEM is always a rough one for me and by Sunday I am usually tired, but this one was extra since I did almost the whole week. I don't know the additional events can actually be called "fringe" at this point.
