#Chios health workers to TPP: Survivors told us the coastguard rammed them – this explains the "war-like" injuries
Health workers on Chios who came into contact with survivors of a deadly shipwreck have told The Press Project they heard accounts that contradict the Hellenic Coast Guard’s official version of events. Serious questions have been raised in recent days after reports that a camera on the coast guard vessel was not activated. At the same time, survivors are being guarded at Chios hospital while a preliminary inquiry is conducted there, despite many being seriously injured and in acute psychological shock.
