any recommendations for kids books (age 6ish) that discuss friends with adhd/autism? my son has a friend (currently in the process of going through assessments but it’s pretty obvious to everyone, his parents included) and I’m trying to find good ways to talk about the differences between them in a way that is respectful but also honest and direct

@lxak @nathanlovestrees I was thinking about that too! My kid got a book from their school (I don’t remember which grade…), but it was a good starting point.

I think part of the challenge is that his friend is so much like him (unlike my brother who is very obviously different in all the ways his friend is the same) that the differences are harder to explain. He’s a smart kid though

I’ve had conversations about my brother/his uncle’s disabilities but his friend and my brother are *very* different even if there is some overlap in diagnosis, so while I have a framework I lack specifics for this particular situation
