Does obscene wealth turn people into sociopaths, or does it simply reward people with sociopathic tendencies?

@aram Both are definitely true, independently. Sociopaths are more willing to take wealth unfairly, but obscene wealth granted to normal people also soils the heart.
Notch was a reasonably nice person (by cishet white male standards) before his Minecraft payout. I often wonder how different of a person JKRowling would have been if she had never hit it big.
