I am awake against my will and better judgement. This problem requires immediate corrective action.

Yesterday, I had an idea: write an #iocaine script specific to onlyjunk.fans. Something that supports multiple configurations within a single runtime (and as such, requires a trusted, sanitized environment).

Something more complex than the built-in script, but unlike Nam-Shub of Enki, meant to be usable by others too. One that doesn't require Emacs to build either.

It needed a name. I just found one while asleep. It's a play on the built-in script's name (Quickly Mark & Kill, QMK): Let Me Be Truly Quick+. LMBTQ+. Also goes well with iocaine's internal symbol names.

I am @doctor is a god damned genius.

I think I am going to move OJF to its own org. Maybe. So far, all of it is in one repo, using cargo workspaces. That works fine for all the Rust parts, but... once I get to writing the script, that's Roto, and to be usable outside of OJF, out to be a separate repo1.

  1. also useful when deploying separately. ↩︎
