@Em0nM4stodon I think if they're seeing the ring as a gift they're actually Gollum in that analogy.
@Em0nM4stodon I throw all of my gifts into Mount Doom just to be on the safe side. It is a bit more effort, and the B&B prices are astronomical due to the low frequency of visitors, but Mount Doom is actually quite lovely this time of year and you can't put a price on piece of mind.
