@kyleford Considering that the current AI wave is powered by large language models that were all trained with reinforced learning using data labeling made by hundreds of thousands of people mostly from Venezuela and African countries, most of which earned less than $1 per hour, in some cases $0.01 per hour, with conditions analogous to slavery, RentAHuman at least pays well (FOR NOW, of course this probably is another one that will reach slave-like conditions).
@kyleford I'm pretty sure this is what @pluralistic was talking about when he used the term Reverse Centaur. Now I'm picturing a world where people accomplish random inscrutable tasks in the real world dictated by AI slop bots and they have no way of knowing what they just did. Isn't this part of the plot of the Severance TV show? Please, don't create the Torment Nexus
