I just spent 11 hours on my thesis. Brain is foggy and tired. Intro done, Lit Review is almost there and Meth0dology is going to be HUGE! My data scare will be resolved in a couple of days #PhDLife

I have killed many darlings today. About half of what I wrote remains. It seems terrible, but I remain resolute. Content discipline is hard but rewarding.
@SeaFury this is why my book is so short. Ain鈥檛 nobody got time to read the same thing phrased three different ways. I tried to say it once, say it right, and move on. Submitted to a couple of publishers, so let鈥檚 see how long it takes to get the rejection letter.
(There won鈥檛 be a rejection letter, I鈥檒l just never hear back from them I鈥檓 sure.)
@emmadavidson I am a concise writer but it was the depth that I overestimated. I didn't need to SHOW climate data methodology = but show how it relates to what I am doing. A citation is enough to satisfy the examiner. I thought I had to show everything to the nth degree GACK. Good luck with the submissions 馃挌
