So apparently I can just have Wayland and KDE installed alongside X11 and Cinnamon and try them all out? TIL. Wish me luck!

Well. That has, overall, been a horrible experience. So many bugs. Back to Cinnamon and X11 I go!

@aly Interesting. I've used KDE for years (decades...) and recently moved over to Mint/Cinnamon. Mostly to see if I could keep the configurabiilty I love with slightly more consistency. Happy so far.

(I try so hard not to care about Wayland vs X11. But it's hard when, as a pretty simple Linux user, Wayland seems specifically designed to remove features I rely on. But of course it's "the future"!)
