@hellomiakoda Wow, I'd never heard of insurance doing that before.
@woozle I have per mile insurance. That means my insurance base rate is cheap as fuck, but gets expensive if I drive a bunch. Since I can't work, I don't drive much, and thus, I save a lot of money this way - and just get a heavy hit every once in a while when I have a bunch of driving. Ie - I'm expecting the month I move to be expensive.

I guess it'd be nicer if, like, they could annualize it based on past mileage (so only one odophoto a year), while still letting you pay monthly.

@hellomiakoda We just pay a flat fee every month, no dongles or photos -- currently $50/mo for the newer vehicle. (I had to log in to look it up because it's rolled into our home insurance, which is more than the two car-insurances combined.)
